Summary

Responsible for the development of strategy for new product line. Staffs and directs new business line and provides leadership towards the achievement of team quotas and goals in line with company vision and values.

Responsibilities

  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of goals
  • Manage and be the main point of contact for existing partners
  • Manage sales orders and provide status to partners and/or manager
  • Communicate with partners on new products and service offerings
  • Work with marketing to drive demand generation for new prospects
  • Initiates and coordinates development of strategies to generate new business
  • *Qualify leads through sales pipeline and organize within CRM system
  • *Develop and maintain partner and client relationships through phone, in-person contact
  • Provide weekly report of pipeline and forecast using the SalesForce CRM system
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows
  • Prepare written presentations, reports, and price quotations
  • Define and execute on partner sales plans
  • Keep management informed of relevant sales activities, including timely preparation of reports
  • Travel 15% - includes on-site visits to partner and customer locations within the DC Metropolitan area, as well as outside of this geographic region for conferences, tradeshows and other events. Must possess valid state issued Driver's License.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, management or related field
  • 2-5 years of sales experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to work with little direction and feedback
  • Superior knowledge of Internet access and use as well as MS Office a must
  • Strong business sense with ability to identify potential sales, profit and partner opportunities
  • Excellent team player with great interpersonal skills.
