Sales Representative I

Work as part of a sales team to help drive net new business and grow existing accounts to achieve overall sales quota.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for new business and revenue generation through list building, phone calls and email
  • Qualify leads through sales pipeline and organize within CRM system
  • Develop and maintain partner and client relationships through phone, in-person contact
  • Engage in technical discussions with potential clients, host product demonstrations and sales presentations.
  • Keep management informed of relevant sales activities, including timely preparation of reports.
  • Travel 15% - includes on-site visits to partner and customer locations within the DC Metropolitan area, as well as outside of this geographic region for conferences, tradeshows and other events. Must possess valid state issued Driver's License.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • *Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Ability to work with little direction and feedback
  • Superior knowledge of Internet access and use as well as MS Office a must
  • Strong business sense with ability to identify potential sales, profit and partner opportunities
  • Excellent team player with great interpersonal skills.
