Our most popular workshop, the Ansible lab takes you through running ad-hoc commands in Core, writing and running a playbook, using more advanced features such as variables, loops, and handlers, and installing, configuring, and running job templates in Tower. The academic delivery model creates comfort and familiarity with this popular tool.

Ansible is used by thousands of organizations globally to automate IT tasks such as configuration management, provisioning, workflow orchestration, application deployment, and lifecycle management. Ansible is easy to adopt across the entire enterprise from networks, servers, security and compliance to cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, and CI/CD. To further increase operational efficiency and security, Ansible Tower offers enterprises a visual dashboard, role-based access control, graphical inventory management, and auditable knowledge about the source and outcomes of automation.

The workshop will take place on October 31st at the VITA Corporate Office (11751 Meadowville Ln, Chester, VA 23836 Commonwealth Enterprise Solutions Center (CESC))) and will run from 9am-2pm. There will be 20 lab laptops available to those participants that need one, however we encourage you to bring your own if capable. Additional workshop details below.
